Hi, I'm Bailey, a designer who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, policy, and art. I'm currently focusing on financial tools at Google.
I believe good design is informed by research and collaboration, and that the best interfaces are restful, intentful, and unintrusive.
I studied of economics and computer science at West Point and Georgetown, and my visualizations are published in a number of papers in the areas of migration, population trends, polling and analysis, and government and economic policy.
Previously, I designed software with Alphabet, Lockheed Martin, and Pew Research Center. I also wrote a little about speech recognition and synthesis APIs, later prototyping Google Assistant integrations in Nest devices for Area 120 proposals, Google's incubator for experimental products.
